- Start by clicking either the New Finagraph or New Borrowing Base buttons.
- If you have Chrome or FireFox you'll be prompted to install a browser extension the first time you connect.
- Installing the FinancialLink extension for Google Chrome
- Installing .NET Framework Assistant for the Firefox Browser
- On the Collecting Financial Details page specify the correct reporting date and click the Link to BBC Easy button.
- If a Security Warning dialog box appears, verify it shows Booyami as the publisher and click Run.
- A Launching Application window will appear when FinancialLink starts. The process will ensure that all prerequisites have been installed and FinancialLink is able to communicate with your accounting system. No user feedback is required; while FinancialLink processes the data do not turn off or unplug your computer.
- Sage 50 must be running for the BBC Easy link process to proceed. If you receive an error start Sage 50 and open the correct company file and then click Retry.
- You may be prompted by Sage 50 to allow BBC Easy to access your software. Check the box to Remember this setting, and then click Yes.
- In the dropdown for the Financial Link wizard select your Sage 50 company file from the list and click Link.
- The FinancialLink process will then collect the reports necessary. You'll see a page with status of the process. The first box reports on the progress of data collection from Sage 50 - the speed is determined by the size of the database and power of the Sage 50 server. The second box shows the progress of the upload to our servers - this is limited by the upload speeds of your internet connection. The final box tracks the progress of our cloud service analyzing the data and creating your Borrowing Base.
- When completed, you'll be presented with your new report.
