All you need to get started

BBC Easy has very few requirements. However, before you get started, make sure that you follow these suggestions:

Supported Internet Browsers:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 9, 10 & 11
• Microsoft Edge browser (introduced with Windows 10)
• Google Chrome - Requires the installation of a plug-in to support the Finagraph Financial Link for desktop accounting systems.
• Mozilla Firefox - Only supported for viewing reports and linking with QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel.

If you're using QuickBooks Online or Xero for your finances, that's all you need, however, if you are linking with a desktop accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks for Windows) you'll need at least version 4.6.2 of Microsoft .NET Framework (If you are running Windows 10 then it should already have the right version).

Our upgraded encryption key used to guarantee the security of the linking process requires at least .NET version 4.6.2.
